Commercial kitchens require exhaust, make up air, fire suppression, gas piping, and electrical.  We are able to get all of these things done for you from start to finish minimizing the required time required to open your business to the public.  There are many things to consider when designing a commercial kitchen.  The main thing is the clearance requirements to combustible materials and property lines.  Morris Heat and Air can walk with you every step of the way to help you better understand all code requirements associated with your commercial kitchen.  The first step in installing a commercial kitchen is to sheathe the walls with stainless steel.

Morris Heat and Air offers Commercial Kitchen Exhaust System Installation and Service.

Sheathing the walls of your kitchen with stainless steel helps to ensure that grease accumulation on walls is cleanable.  We use high grade 304 stainless steel throughout this process unless provided differently.  Once we have your commercial kitchen walls sheathed, we can then hang the exhaust hood.  Morris Heat and Air carries all tools and has a staff willing and able to make sure your exhaust hood is set safely in place.  Because exhaust hoods can weigh in excess of 2000 pounds, it is very important to rely upon our expertise to safely lift and set your exhaust hood.

Morris Heat and Air has the tools and manpower to safely install kitchen exhaust systems for commercial and residential clients in Northeast Oklahoma.

After your commercial kitchen exhaust hood is set in place, it is important to determine how the grease laden air should be exhausted from the building.  Because air is being removed from the building it is necessary to introduce new air into the building.  We call this air “make-up air”.  Most applications require us to exhaust and make up air from the roof of the building.  Morris Heat and Air is very knowledgeable about this process and will ensure that your roof is cut and flashed correctly so that moisture does not leak into your structure after installation.   Some applications require side venting through walls of the structure.  This can also be accomplished safely and diligently by our staff.  Some Commercial businesses require the make up air to be conditioned or “tempered”.  Morris Heat and Air offers this as well.

Commercial Kitchen Exhaust and Make Up Air
Commercial Kitchen Exhaust and Make Up Air is commonly installed on the roof of the building. This requires curbs, clearances and roofing that is all handled by our professionals.

All Type 1 Kitchen Exhaust Systems require Ansul Systems commonly referred to as Fire Suppression Systems.  All of this comes pre fabricated with your newly installed Captiveaire Commercial Kitchen Exhaust System installed by Morris Heat and Air.  Any and all electrical, gas and fire suppression needs will be met as a part of our installation unless, otherwise, specified by our customer.

It is important to understand that there are numerous codes surrounding the installation of Kitchen Exhaust Systems.  Morris Heat and Air is knowledgable and dedicated to making the process of installing these systems fast and efficient so that cost of installation is minimized.  If you are located in Tulsa, Okmulgee, Muskogee, McAlester, Jenks, or Bixby areas in Northeast Oklahoma please give us a call to discuss what we can do for you.  Our Number is (918) 734-0040
